Kingdom Capital Covered Call Investment Funds
Kingdom Capital Training Institute offers “hands-on” training to hone the members' skills to expertly manage their own account using our covered call investment strategy. We do this by managing in real-time two investment funds, “Classic" and "Pro" on the Internet at KingdomCapital.com. Each of our Funds start each year with an initial investment of $20,000 in a brokerage account, without any additional funding.
Our Hedge Fund Manager daily posts “LIVE” on the Internet his entire trading journal notes, stock and option trades, market analyses and musings in real-time. By following his every move you can "paper-trade" until you become proficient at managing your own real-money covered call investment account. Our training seminars along with our unique hands-on training methods, will equip you to soon learn how to manage 50% average annual returns compounded in your brokerage account year-after-year.
The Classic Covered Call Investment Fund does not use any margin (like in an IRA or Individual Retirement Account). The Pro Covered Call Investment Fund uses "limited" margin (no more than 50%, only during brief, specifically opportune periods a few times a year) - that significantly enhances returns.
Past Performance
Kingdom Capital Management from June 1998 to June 2001 managed two covered call investment funds. The Classic Fund gained 150%, while the Pro Fund gained 250% for the 3-year life of these investment funds. Each fund started with an initial investment of $20,000 without any subsequent additional funding. We display our past performance charts of both the Classic and the Pro Funds on our website at KingdomCapital.com. All of these charts are FREE and accessible to anyone (member or non-member).
See Seminar 3: Understanding Past Performance Charts for more details and information on how these Funds perform.
Current Performance
Kingdom Capital Management is currently managing “LIVE” on World Wide Web two covered call investment funds. Each of the funds, Classic and Pro started with an initial investment of $20,000 without any subsequent additional funding. Updated daily, we display the current performance charts of both the Classic and the Pro funds on our website at KingdomCapital.com. Access these charts frequently to compare our performance to the benchmark indices and to our past performance. From these charts you can easily follow how we currently perform and to quickly assess that we are on track to realizing the gains we've made in the past. All of these charts are freely accessible by anyone (member or non-member), as we like to use these to promote our services to prospective clients.
See Seminar 4: Understanding Current Performance Charts for more details and information on how these funds are performing.

Covered Calls
Go to the Covered Calls web page by single-clicking the "covered calls" button at the right from the home page (or from any free web page). Detailed is how to write a covered call. Read the entire section. Take particular note in that this may sound complicated at first, yet with our training and by repeatedly doing this in our accounts you will very soon become an expert covered call writer.
See Seminar 2: Understanding Covered Calls for complete training and instruction.
Covered Call Candidates
Once you have logged in as a member, you may access our Covered Call Candidates by single-clicking the "cc candidates" button on the right. Presented is a watchlist of our covered call candidates. It is a compilation of the results from our research methods we review, update and post weekly. The watchlist is fully researched and readily available when the need arises for us add positions to our portfolio (buy stocks to write covered calls). These stocks are given an overall rating listed in the far right column - with a “****” (four-star) rating regarded as being excellent. We rate these stocks according to the following:
- Call Option Premium – We target stocks that have a call option to stock price ratio of about 8–10% - or more!
- Technical Analysis - Based upon the stock chart, consideration is given to the stock price trend, volatility or degree of movement within the price patterns, support levels underlying the price trend and current price location within the price trend range (upper and lower limits).
- Company Fundamental Analysis - Based upon recent earnings report surprises, earnings revision trends, broker recommendation upgrades and trends, company earnings report dates and news releases.
- Industry - Consideration is given for portfolio diversification purposes.
See Seminar 6: Understanding Covered Call Candidates for more details regarding the research methods that complement our investment strategy parameters.
Trading Journal
Once you have logged in as a member, single-clicking the "trading journal" button on the right can access our Hedge Fund Manager’s Daily Trading Journal. Get familiar with his daily postings by single-clicking on archived journals. Take notice that these postings are brief, streamlined by his knowledge and expertise – yet everything you need to know to manage like a pro. All stock and covered call option trades are posted as they occur (and e-mailed to you if this option has been selected - coming soon!)
The Trading Journal along with our Portfolio Tracking Tools, provide our members with hands-on training that hone their covered call writing skills on paper before applying their expertise to their own real-money account. We provide custom software that let’s you graphically compare your paper-traded results with our hedge fund returns. Within a few months, our members learn to effectively achieve similar investment returns on paper to that generated by our hedge fund manager. Once comparable results are achieved on paper, our members may then confidently open a brokerage account to successfully manage their own funds.
Exhaustive mathematical analysis of various portfolio models has proven that in using our investment strategy methods, very similar results can be achieved with very little market timing. It is not intended nor is it necessary for the subscriber to receive each trade exactly when it occurs in order to emulate very similar results. The subscriber will learn that changes made to their paper portfolio - within a few hours of our posting time - will not over time significantly vary their performance in relation to ours. There is a great degree of flexibility within all of our investment strategy parameters that enable for us to still achieve incredible results with very low risk, time or effort.
Throughout the trading session, by periodically refreshing the Trading Journal web page (and with our e-mail alerts - coming soon!), the subscriber will be kept abreast of all the action necessary to incorporate into your paper-portfolio, expert management skills. As we demonstrate in real-time superb portfolio management results, the subscriber can manage on paper their own personal investment model, thereby obtaining expertise within a few short months. As we say, within months the subscriber will be managing their own accounts with the saavy of a seasoned veteran - and the profits thereof derived!
See Seminar 7: Understanding the Trading Journal for complete instruction regarding the use of this invaluable tool.
Trading History
Once you have logged in as a member, single-clicking the "trading history" button on the right can access our Hedge Fund Manager’s Trading History. Presented is a complete list of all stock and covered option trades posted by the Fund Manager for the Kingdom Capital covered call investment funds. If you are a Classic subscriber, you will gain access to the every trade made in the Classic Fund. If you are a Pro subscriber, you gain access to the complete list of all trades made in the Pro Fund. Our Fund Manager averages about 10 stock and option trades per month in each fund, however this does vary from month-to-month.
Listed in table format according to the column heading is each transaction date, underlying (stock) symbol, trade type (buy or sell), number of shares traded, option month and strike price for all option trades, price per share, and total cost impact to the cash balance. The cash balance column at the far right is the cash available to invest in covered calls. At the top of the balance column is the initial amount of funds invested, or $20,000. At the bottom of the balance column is the current amount of funds available for investment. Again, the average number of transactions or trades has been approximately 10 per month. SIMILAR TO BALANCING A CHECKBOOK, we provide complete training for you to manage your investment accounts.

These simple, yet effective tools quickly get you up and running as a covered call writer and greatly facilitate you into becoming a professional money manager. We provide you with our proprietary software programs that enable you to record, analyze and compare your paper-trades using our covered call investment approach.
This efficient method trains you to masterfully manage an investment fund - that seriously outperforms! Simply look over our Hedge Fund Manager’s shoulder as he trades in either the Classic or Pro Fund. When he makes a trade (as posted in his Trading Journal:
- Simply pull up the current quote and log it into “My Trades”, (similar to our Trading History).
- Log this same information into “My CovCall Fund”, (similar to software we use to create Classic and Pro current performance charts).
- Next, update “My Portfolio” (similar to our Model Portfolio) and “My CovCall Fund” with the closing stock price for each stock position held at the end of each day.
- Lastly, enter the end-of-day Classic and Pro Fund total portfolio value into “My Fund vs KC Fund”.
- Now click “My Value Chart” and “My Comparison Chart” to view your progress!
With a simple click of your mouse, you can visually see how your covered call fund is performing (on paper) and track your progress compared to the Kingdom Capital Investment Funds. Since practice makes perfect, you can start over at any time - as often as you like!
If you follow our methods and these simple steps, your paper-traded fund will likely mirror our returns within a few months - or even weeks. When you achieve comparable results (on paper), you may then open your own brokerage account and manage a real-money fund having gained the confidence you need to successfully manage your investments.
